In the spring of 2009 the elders of Providence Reformed Bible Church asked me about the possibility of beginning a Bible study for college and university students. I was excited about this prospect as I had missed teaching such a class ever since giving up Sunday School teaching responsibilties at a former church the previous August. The first meeting was held on 26 April 2009 in my living room, and the students in attendance agreed that they would like to meet every other week afterward. I am posting the notes here for those that have been unable to attend, or would like to "catch up" after missing one or more meetings. The notes from the first meeting are particularly important, as the theological, philosophical, and pedagogical foundations of the entire endeavor were presented in that lesson. Students that would like to attend future meetings and that missed the first one might find that those notes help to "get them on the same page" as everyone else.
